As all schools breaking for summer holidays this week, we are pleased to announce that like the last two summers, we will offer our swimming crash courses this summer for 4 weeks at Aspire Centre in Southfields, Wandsworth, Southwest London. If you are interested in doing swim lessons over the school summer holidays, here are our crash courses’ details
We will run our crash courses from 9 am to 11.30 am from Monday 25th of July 2022 to 19th of Aug 2022 at Aspire center pool in Southfields, Wandsworth (SW18).
In our 5-Day crash course, you can book 5 lessons that could be of either 30 mins or 60 mins in duration.
The minimum booking is for one week.
Our crash courses will run over the following weeks:
W/C 25th of July 2022
W/C 1st of Aug 2022
W/C 8th of Aug 2022
W/C 15th of Aug 2022
You can see more information about the size and depth of the swimming pool and the venue here. However, the pool is a 25-meter heated pool and has both male and female changing rooms.
This pool is also easily accessible from Wimbledon and Clapham by bus 156 or by tube to Southfields station (from Wimbledon or Fulham) or by train to Earlsfield Station from Clapham Junction (only one stop away).
This venue has onsite free parking.

We only offer private lessons and semi-private lessons in our crash courses for children and we also offer lessons to ASD children on 1:1 basis.
We can also offer intensive swim lessons over the summer holidays for Adults but, again only private lessons.
We also offer 1:2 and 1:3 lessons but only to siblings and friends who want to share swimming lessons with each other.
If you wish to book 1:1 lessons for your child we charge £255 (per child) for our 5-Day summer crash course for 1:1 lessons. Each lesson will be 30 mins.
If you wish to book 1:1 lessons for your child with any special needs like ASD, we charge £285 (per child) for our 5-Day summer crash course for 1:1 lessons. Each lesson will be 30 mins.
The charge for our 5-Day intensive 1:1 swim lessons for adults is £285.00 over the summer and each day; Monday to Friday, you get 30 mins of a private lesson.

My girls have been going to Blue Wave Swim School for over 2 years, they have been looking forward to each lesson and keep practicing the swimming tricks even in a bath. Easter 2021 Crash Course
Various lockdowns have held back my daughter’s swimming development so we opted for a crash 4 day course over Easter and she has come away from it much more confident and with a recognisable stroke as opposed to doggy paddle!

Although I have only attended two lessons, Marjan’s bubbly personality makes you feel instantly at ease. During the lessons, the pool was not very busy which is a good thing (as opposed to public pools) for those who are anxious.
I would strongly recommend to adults who have experienced trauma with water at a certain time in their lives.

My son has been going to swimming lessons at Blue Wave in Wimbledon for a few years now and thoroughly enjoys it. The teaching is great and the lessons well run. Helps to prepare him for when we finally get to go on holiday again!

Excellent results
My son is 4 years-old and we were looking for weekend swimming classes in a nice environment that could bring good results. After some research we chose Blue Wave Swim. Our son has been having private lessons since the end of 2018 and he is progressing very well. Superb Swimming School in Wimbledon
My daughter, who is now 7 years old, started with blue wave two years back and we have been very happy with her progress at the school. Initially we started with group lessons but once she got comfortable in water we moved her to semi private lessons, which made a lot of difference in her ability to learn swimming. As part of the smaller group she is better bonded with other children in the group and gets more attention from the swimming instructor, which is helping her advance her swimming skills. During her 2 years with blue wave, swimming instructors for my daughter have changed and while continuity in learning was maintained, I think this could have been managed better. Needless to say, she still goes and enjoys her time here and looks forward to her class every week. Overall we are very pleased with Blue Wave and would recommend them without any hesitation.
