To ensure the best results and positive experience for swimmers, in our lessons, in 1:2 and 1:3 lessons, children by ability and swimming level:
Beginners (Aged 3+): Using the shallow-end (1.1 m) of the 25-meter pool, focus is on water confidence, basic of swimming skills, and basic safety.
Confident (Aged 4+): For children who can already swim 3m+ unaided. We focus on stroke technique, "Big Arms," and stamina in the 25m pool.
School-Aged children: Utilising 25 meter swimming pool, the 2.7m deep end for diving, personal survival, and stamina training, we teach school children in all stages of Swim England 1-7 Staging system.

Wimbledon College's sport facility is conveniently situated near the A3 and the A298. Easy to get to by driving from Kingston, Morden, Raynes Park, Balham, Southfields and Putney. There is free car park access at this venue for all clients and a good disability access. If you are using public transport, the closest train, tramp and tube station is Wimbledon. There are plenty buses which have stops close to Wimbledon College. Access to the College is through the black gate next to the Church in Edge Hill if you are driving or for pedestrians, they need to use the pedestrian gate (opposite DonHead Perp's School) in Egde Hill.Pool Size: 25-meter, 4-lane indoor heated pool.
Temperature: Maintained at a comfortable 30°C year-round.
Depth: 1.0m (shallow end) to 2.7m (deep end)—perfect for both beginners and advanced technique training.
Training Features: Sufficient space for stamina training, diving practice, and personal survival skills..
Stamina & Stroke Technique: Plenty of space for school-aged children to build endurance and practice competitive starts and turns.
Diving & Survival Skills: With a 2.7m maximum depth, we can safely teach basic diving, treading water, and essential personal survival skills—skills that cannot be taught in shallow health club pools.
Professional Equipment: We provide all high-quality teaching aids, including kickboards, pull buoys, and noodles, so you don't need to carry extra gear to your lessons.
To ensure a smooth experience at our Wimbledon venue, please take note of the following facility details:
Separate Changing Rooms: We provide spacious, separate changing areas for Male/Boys and Female/Girls.
Accompanied Children: Children under 8 should use the changing room corresponding to the gender of the parent/carer accompanying them. (Note: There are no dedicated family changing rooms).
Showers & Toilets: Warm showers and toilets are available. We recommend a quick rinse-off at the pool and taking full showers at home to avoid congestion.
Storage: Plenty of hooks and hangers are available for bags; however, there are no secure lockers on-site.
For Toddlers: Please bring your own changing mat. As there are no nappy bins, please take all used nappies home with you.
Accessibility: A separate toilet for people with disabilities is available.
Pro Tip: We recommend swimmers arrive "swim-ready." There are no hair dryers on-site, so please bring a woolly hat for your child to wear after the lesson!

Observatory and Waiting area for Parents An observatory area with benches available for parents/carers and siblings to sit down and observe swimming lessons. A foyer area with limited tables and chairs are available for parents, carers and children. No vending machine or cafe at this venue.
